
John Regazzi
Chief Executive Officer & Director
Mr. Regazzi has served as Co-Chief Executive Office since June 2017 and Chief Technical Officer of Giga-tronics since August 2016. Since joining Giga-tronics in 2001 he has held the position of President and General Manager, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Engineering and Chief Executive Officer. Previous experience includes 22 years at Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies in various design and management positions associated with their microwave sweeper and synthesizer product lines. His final position at Agilent Technologies was as a senior engineering manager. Mr. Regazzi is known across the industry for his RF and Microwave expertise in military and aerospace applications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.

Lutz P. Henckels
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Director
Dr. Henckels has served as a member of the Company’s Board since 2011 and will continue to serve on the Company’s Board. Dr. Henckels is a Managing Member of Alara Capital AVI II (formerly the Company’s largest shareholder) and has over 20 years’ experience serving as Chief Executive Officer of the private and public technology companies HiQ Solar, SyntheSys Research (acquired by Tektronix/Danaher), LeCroy Corporation (LCRY), and HHB Systems (HHBX). Dr. Henckels is the recipient of the first John Fluke Sr. Memorial Award, along with David Packard, Joe Keithley, and Alex D’Arbeloff. The John Fluke Sr. Memorial Award was established in 1986 to honor executives who have led their companies with innovative engineering or business management. Dr. Henckels holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He graduated Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi, and is also a graduate of the OMP program of Harvard Business School. Dr. Henckels has also been a director of multiple publicly traded companies, including Ikos, Inframetrics, and LeCroy.
Armand Pantalone
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Pantalone joined Giga-tronics in July 2016 as the Director of RADAR & EW Test Solutions. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Pantalone worked at Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems Division. In his 20 years at Raytheon, he held a variety of technical and leadership positions associated with RADAR and missile defense programs. Previous experience includes 10 years at Northrop Grumman/Nordeen Systems as an RF & Microwave engineer specializing in the design of RADAR systems including system integration and flight testing. Armand is a 1987 graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY with a dual degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Daniel S. Kirby
Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Kirby has served 21 years in the US Air Force in the Electronic Warfare career field, retiring as the Chief of Advanced Systems - Integration and Test for the Big Safari Program Office, Det 4. While in the Air Force, he supported 12 different special mission programs including his primary program, the EC-130H Compass Call. The Compass Call system employs offensive counter-information and electronic attack (or EA) capabilities in support of U.S. and Coalition tactical air, surface, and special operations forces. The EC-130H, EA-6B or EA-18G, and F-16CJ, form the Suppression of Enemy Air Defense (SEAD) triad. Mr. Kirby was part of a Big Safari team that continuously developed and tested new capabilities and tactics to respond to emerging threats and requests from combatant commanders.
After retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Kirby was the Western Regional Manager at Aeroflex providing specialized test solutions for the Military, Aerospace and Commercial market for 8 years. Mr. Kirby then transitioned to the Tektronix Mil-Aero Key Account Management team providing advanced test capabilities for Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Aerospace Corporation and Lockheed Martin prior to joining Giga-tronics in 2013 as the Director of Business Development.
